Biocatalysis is an essential technology for the transition to a sustainable chemical industry. Using biocatalysis instead of chemical catalysis in a single industrial process can reduce energy requirements by the equivalent of millions of tons of CO2 emissions – like taking a million cars of the road for a year. Put differently, a single biocatalytic process can have a larger impact on CO2 emissions than all electric cars in the world taken together.
Biocatalysis should be the industry’s first choice — not a method of last resort – and we believe our immobilization technology can be the catalyst for this transition. But we need great researchers, sales people, and business developers on our team to make it happen.
THE WORLD’S TOP TALENT
On our small team we have both fresh-minted PhDs and scientists who’ve held the Nobel Prize for Chemistry presentation speech. The common thread is that everyone is an expert at what they do. We know that the best want to work with the best, and we’re building a company with a culture of excellence as one of its core values.
FANTASTIC PLACE TO WORK
The biotech sector lags behind the rest of the tech world when it comes to work quality – there are companies out there that still use punch clocks or tell employees to pay for their coffee. You won’t see any of that here. We genuinely strive to be the best company you’ll ever work for.
We also offer full medical coverage, 25 vacation days, and 480 days of paid parental leave, but we can’t take any credit for that – that’s just called “living in Sweden”.
That’s the important stuff, but the small things matter too:
We’ll help you with visa, apartment, and everything else you need to relocate. If you need to be convinced that moving to Stockholm is a good idea, this gentleman explains the benefits very well:
If you’re in sales, we also have remote positions.
That means we’ll mostly meet over Skype, but you’ll be equally important for making our vision a reality.
